Platform Enforcement
Company names, reasons and case details of blacklist entries and fraud alerts are restricted to the CargoVault trust team. The planned overview will show aggregate counts without exposing accusations against specific companies. The planned process will notify affected counterparties inside a relevant deal once transactions open.
Dispute Resolution Process
The planned process will let either party submit a dispute with supporting evidence.
The planned process will give the other party 48 hours to provide their side and counter-evidence.
The planned process targets an admin review within 72 hours. No real disputes are adjudicated in the prototype.
Safe Room — document integrity and authenticity
Every document is fingerprinted with SHA-256 at upload. Any alteration afterwards is detected. Access is recorded in an immutable log: who opened it, when, and from where. Documents can be released to the other party at a defined stage of the transaction rather than all at once.
The seller can identify who issued each certificate — the chamber of commerce, inspection service or certification body — with the certificate number and dates. That is what makes a document checkable: with a named issuer and a number, it can be confirmed at source. Verification against the issuer is planned as a separately priced service.
A fingerprint proves a document has not been altered. It does not prove the document was genuine to begin with. Those are different questions, and we answer them separately.
Where a seller does not supply issuer details, the lot states explicitly that authenticity cannot be verified — never a blank field.
